The Racquet Club of New York was the setting for a fine game of real tennis between French players, with the Division A final pitting Sam Turchetta against Vincent Letonturier, an experienced player. The match offered members of various French clubs — from Paris, Bordeaux, and Fontainebleau — an opportunity to gather and support a Frenchman in the final.
Vincent once again demonstrated his talent and experience, taking command of the match and putting Turchetta under pressure. The Frenchman got off to a strong start, using precise movement and powerful shots to gain the upper hand. His solid baseline play proved challenging for Turchetta, who was forced to adapt to a more defensive style
This match was an opportunity for supporters from the clubs of Paris, Bordeaux, and Fontainebleau to come together and cheer on their champion. Members of the various clubs were impressed by Letonturier’s performance, which once again showed why he is one of the best real tennis players in France. “Vincent was incredible today,” said one of the French members.
However Vincent Letonturier wasn’t the only one to shine in this tournament. Several other players from France also took part in the Silver Racquets games in squash, court tennis and rackets, delivering remarkable performances. Jeremie Kreitz, a member of the Paris club, showed his skill in real tennis, while Malcolm Allen and Bill Holmberg played impressively in both real tennis and squash — with Bill falling short of playing in the finals by 2 points in the 5th set in squash. He reached the quarter- finals in real tennis in his division.
Benjamin Kreitz, a member of the Fontainebleau club, made his international debut, unfortunately losing in the first round of his first international tournament. But he was not the only one making his debut: our dear professional, Baudoin from Bordeaux, also took part, facing a tough handicap match but managing to enjoy himself and make the most of the experience.
Alexis de Chaisemartin also competed in doubles in both rackets and real tennis, losing in the second round after a hard-fought battle. And Sebastian Kreitz, though unfortunately injured, still took part in the social events and enthusiastically supported his friends throughout their matches during the Silver Racquets tournament.
Despite an honorable defeat, Letonturier earned the admiration of everyone in attendance. His sportsmanship and fair play were praised by the entire real-tennis community.
We warmly congratulate Vincent Letonturier for his fine performance and wish him continued success in his real-tennis play. We are proud to have seen him represent France with such distinction!

We hope to see more members of French clubs come to play and support the French players at the Silver Racquet next year!
