Taylor M.E. Baldwin Cup hits a 10 year milestone
The annual Baldwin Charity Cup held its 10th tournament during the weekend of January 17-18, 2026 at the club on rue Lauriston.
As a reminder, this charity tournament, organized by Marie Pierre and Tayt Baldwin in coordination with USEP / Fondation Saint Jean de Dieu, supporting the cause for children with multiple disabilities. Donations raised help to improve the daily lives of the children cared for by the USEP at the Lecourbe Medical and Social Center in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, by financing specialized equipment, outings and additional facilities better suited to their needs.
This year, a record number of participants (40+) contributed, along with other volunteers who did not play in the tournament, more than 12,000 Euros this year, and 123,000 euros over the past decade.
Players from the United States, England and diverse corners of France gathered for this annual fundraiser. Under the expert eye of our Pro Rod, who refereed the handicap doubles matches, the atmosphere was lively and convivial. By Sunday, the field had narrowed to the top 2 teams from five sub-groups, all fighting for every point against the clock. Ultimately, Anthony Barron and William Holmberg claimed the top spot, edging out Father-Son duo Hubert and Arthur van Cappel de Premont 6–5 in a very close final.
