French Open +50: an intense weekend at the Bordeaux Club

Under sunny skies, the French Open +50 brought together players and fans for an elegant and intense sport. Between rallies on the court and friendly moments at the club, this edition perfectly embodied the spirit of the game: competition, friendship, and sharing.

First exchanges and renewed friendships

From the moment the tournament began, the tension was palpable. The matches provided high-quality entertainment. Among the highlights of the weekend was the intense duel between Pascal Grierson and Jean-Philippe Grabli, with the latter ultimately prevailing in a thrilling match. Meanwhile, the aperitif at the club enabled everyone to relax and strengthen bonds in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

On the court and around the table: perfect balance

The tournament continued on Saturday at a steady pace, with closely contested matches that kept spectators on the edge of their seats. Notable among these were the tight matches between Duboscq/Tribaudeau and Shenkman/Semenoff, which ended with very close scores of 6/5–6/5, demonstrating the high level of the competitors. In the evening, dinner at the Bar de la Marine brought together players, volunteers, and supporters in a friendly setting, enjoying good food and carefully selected wines, extending the celebration and conversation.

Highlights to end on a high note

Sunday's finals provided an intense and exciting spectacle, crowning the best players in an atmosphere that was both festive and respectful. The thrilling doubles final between the formidable team of Michel Brunoro & Florian Reinaud and the pair of Charles Blanchot & Luke Danby lived up to all expectations, with high-level play and spectacular rallies.
