A wonderful weekend of real tennis was held recently, bringing together seventeen players from Paris, Fontainebleau, Philadelphia, Wellington and Cambridge. A fine testament to the vitality and international reach of this ancient sport, which continues to attract a new generation of passionate players.
For these young players, it was above all a great chance to get back on court, play some good matches, and see how far their game has come. The atmosphere was both focused and relaxed — exactly as it should be when everyone shares the same passion.
Results: Singles, doubles and consolation
In the U15 category, Philippe Antoine Travis (Paris) defeated Paul Jardin (Fontainebleau) 8 games to 1.
In the U17 category, Jonah Serotta (Philadelphia) defeated Philippe Antoine Travis (Paris) 10 games to 4.
In the U19 category, Jonah Serotta (Philadelphia) defeated Philippe Antoine Travis (Paris) 6/3 6/4.
Congratulations to all the participants! We hope to see you all again next year!
