The 38th Trophée Édouard Kressmann tournament once again brought together passion, competition and shared moments at the Bordeaux Club.
Magical moments all week long
This 38ᵉ edition kept all its promises on the pitch! Tight matches, spectacular upsets, and an intensity of play hailed by all. A special mention goes to Pascal Guérout our defending champion, who played a breathtaking match in the quarter-finals against John Iole, avec une remontée spectaculaire jusqu’au jeu décisif. En finale, Richard Cherry won both singles and doubles, completing a remarkable double and joining the tournament's big names.
A fast-paced Wednesday on and off the court
On Wednesday, the tournament got off to a flying start, with numerous matches throughout the day, punctuated by very close scores and a great atmosphere in the galleries. In the evening, the club organized a buffet thaï and a doubles exhibition match which brought together players and spectators in a convivial atmosphere despite the capricious weather. Memorable dinner in town
Friday eve, players gathered post games for a dîner exceptionnel à la Cité du Vin. After a day rich in matches and a visit to the wine city, the evening was an opportunity for everyone to get together in a unique and warm setting, over a good meal and a glass of wine, in the purest Bordeaux tradition. A much-appreciated moment of relaxation, between passionate exchanges and beautiful cultural discoveries. A special mention to raffle winner Giles Stogdon, who walked away with a beautiful racket in the club's colors!

Thanks go again to la famille Kressmannwhich has supported this emblematic tournament for many years, and to our partner, Château Laujacfor the quality of the wines served throughout the week. Thanks to them, every year the Trophée Édouard Kressmann is as convivial as it is prestigious.
