Over the weekend of May 22–24, the 2026 French Junior Championship was held at the Cercle du Jeu de Paume de Fontainebleau. Hosting junior competitions at Fontainebleau is always a pleasure — a promising sign for the future of the game.
In the under-15 category, Philippe-Antoine Bauer Travis (Paris) defeated Paul Jardin (Fontainebleau) 10 games to 0.
In the under-17 category, Philippe-Antoine also prevailed against Eloi Saussier (Fontainebleau), winning 10 games to 3.
A friendly handicap tournament was organized alongside the championship. Paul Jardin took the win 8 to 6 against Eloi Saussier.
A big congratulations and thank you to all the participants, especially the players who made the trip from Paris and Bordeaux: Hart Cordell, Philippe-Antoine Bauer Travis and Wandé Blanchot.
